Guiyang International Mountain Bike Event

In September 2012 and 2013, we were the event consultants appointed by the UCI to help the Chinese city of Guiyang organise cross-country mountain bike events. These were test events in advance of a bid to host the first ever Chinese mountain bike World Cup.

We worked with Womei (one of the largest advertising agencies in China) and the local organising committee to deliver an event with 110 riders from 29 different nations. This involved, overlay planning, event production, infrastructure specifications, team inviations, visa and travel liaison and race direction. With a team of 4 specialists from the Fort William World Cup team we also created the competition course that resulted in a successful event.
