In March each year, Rare Management organises the annual SIGB industry ski test.

In a tented village, at an altitude of 2000m, 200+ retailers and media representatives test more than 550 pairs of the following year's skis, producing over 3,500 test results over the week.

For the past 5 years the test has taken place in Pila, in the Italian Aosta Valley. In 2007 and 2008 the test took place in Saalbach, Austria. In 2009 the SIGB Ski Test will take place on the slopes of Bormio in Italy.

As well as the logistics and on-snow organisation we have developed and run the database system that is used to provide analysis of the 3,500+ individual test results.
