Since 2002 we have organised one of the most successful mountain bike events in the world, the Fort William UCI Mountain Bike World Cup.

We have won the UCI Award for the best Mountain Bike World Cups on the circuit in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2008, 2010 and 2011 as well as the IMTTO (International Mountain bike Teams, Tech support and Organisers association) Award for Best Event in the World for five consecutive years, 2005-09. Seven Singletrack awards (2002, 2005-2010) for the best UK mountain bike event, British Cycling Best UK Event 2005 and Mail on Sunday Best Scottish Sporting Event in 2006 and 2010. Scottish Event Awards Best Sporting Event in Scotland 2007, BC Brian Cossavella Memorial Trophy 2010 and a Scottish Thistle Award for Area Tourism.
